Levensohn Vineyards and Realm Cellars Team Up

Today, Melanie and Pascal Levensohn, the owners of Levensohn Vineyards in St. Helena, signed a long-term farming and winemaking agreement with Napa Valley’s Realm Cellars. Under this agreement, Realm Cellars will assume farming and viticultural control of the 3.5 acre Levensohn Vineyard. The established Levensohn Vineyards label will expand to approximately 200 cases annually under the winemaking direction of Realm Cellars’ Winemaker and Partner, Benoît Touquette, while the balance of the vineyard’s production will go to Realm Cellars’ winemaking programs.

“It’s an honor to partner with the team at Realm Cellars; their respect for exceptional vineyard sites and steadfast focus on growing the finest fruit possible is aligned with our vision for this special place,” said Pascal Levensohn. “We’re also excited to work closely with Benoît Touquette, whose artistry as a winemaker will take Levensohn Vineyards to the next level.”

The Levensohn Vineyard sits on the west side of the St. Helena AVA in Napa Valley, close to several other renowned vineyard sites that are sources for Realm Cellars and other fine wine producers. Replanted in 2000, this vineyard’s soils and microclimate combine to consistently produce distinct Cabernet Sauvignon grapes.
